Isaya Reyes, PT, DPT

 I’m Isaya, your Physical Therapist here at Movement By Ice. With an educational background, I earned my Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach, with an emphasis on Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Building upon this foundation, I
pursued a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. Complementing my formal education, I hold additional certifications in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue
Mobilization (IASTM) and Myofascial Decompression. I honed my skills as a Flexologist at Stretch Lab for three years during Physical Therapy School and have served as a Personal Trainer at Gold’s Gym. My past experiences include working at California Rehab and Sport therapy, Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital, and South Bay Sports medicine.

In my downtime, I immerse myself in various activities including video gaming, longboarding, and tackling intricate puzzles. I’m also an avid reader exploring topics in philosophy, business, and mindset development. Additionally, I maintain a disciplined fitness regimen, prioritizing weightlifting sessions to uphold my physical well-being.

My true passion lies in the realm of patient care. I find immense fulfillment in forging meaningful connections with individuals like yourself and guiding them toward achieving their health objectives. Whether you’re recuperating from an injury, managing chronic discomfort, or striving for peak performance, I’m dedicated to providing personalized support tailored to your unique needs. Lionel Reyes, PTA

I’m Lionel Reyes is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and graduated from CSULA in 2017 with a B.S. in Kinesiology, and an emphasis in Therapeutic Exercise and Rehabilitation. I then went on to earn my Physical Therapist Assistant License at Stanbridge
University. One of my specialty practices is Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) in which I have been a Certified Practitioner for 5 years. My past experiences include working at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital (Downey), UCLA Outpatient Physical
Therapy (Westwood), Outpatient Sports (Redondo Beach and Irvine).

During my free time I enjoy being outdoors, rock climbing, surfing and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. My love and passion is within the Sport/Orthopedic world due to the nature of my interests; therefore I cater my work towards people wanting to improve performance and mobility.
